Animal adoption opportunities a success for Massena Humane Society and St. Lawrence Centre

MASSENA -- St. Lawrence Centre and Massena Humane Society held its 12th viewing and adoption event at Bark Ave. & Meow Place on Sunday, Sept. 5. From noon to 5 p.m., shoppers had the opportunity to view a variety of animals, as well as adopt.

Heidi Bradish, director of the Massena Humane Society, said they brought six kittens and one kitten was adopted during the five hour event. In total 28 animals -- seven dogs and 21 cats -- have been adopted during the ten Bark Ave. & Meow Place events.

The Massena Humane Society will be at St Lawrence Centre with adoptable dogs and cats ready for forever homes at Bark Ave. & Meow Place, in the space next to Hallmark, the first Sunday of every month from noon to 5 p.m.. Bark Ave. & Meow Place will be open again on Sunday, Oct. 3.
