POTSDAM -- The American Association of University Women book discussion group will discuss “Telegraph Avenue” by Michael Chabon Wednesday, April 10 at noon at the Potsdam Public Library. Chabon is a New York Times bestselling, Pulitzer Prize winning novelist.
The book transports readers to a world grounded in pop culture, including Kung Fu, ‘70s Blaxploitation films, vinyl LPs, jazz and soul music.
The next discussion will be Wednesday, May 8 and will cover “The Island at the Center of the World; The Epic Story of Dutch Manhattan and the Forgotten Colony That Shaped America” by Russell Shorto.
