The showers of the past couple of days eased today, the sun is making intermittent appearances across the North Country this afternoon, and predictions of snow showers have disappeared from the forecast, but scattered showers remain throughout the St. Lawrence Valley and will stick around for tonight.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy tomorrow, and begin to clear tomorrow night, leading up to sunny days Friday and Saturday with highs near 60 degrees both days.
Saturday night and Sunday, the risk of rain reappears and persists through early next week, perhaps with the sun peeping through on Monday.
