POTSDAM – Metal recycler First Class Aire is leading a metals drive to raise funds for the Potsdam Ice Storm Girls 16 and Under hockey team, who are headed to Irving, Texas for the national championships.
The team will represent New York State in the Girls 16 and Under Division at the USA Hockey National Tournament March 28-April 2.
There are containers at Pine Street Arena to collect the items. They are taking everything from beverage cans to engines and transmissions – fluids drained, please.
They are also taking refrigerators and air conditioners and will reclaim the refrigerant. Most any metal is acceptable. They will arrange for pickup of large items.
