An underage alcohol sweep by authorities made no arrests Friday after sending their agent into stores in Colton, Parishville, Brasher, Potsdam. Pierrepont and Norwood.
The agent tried to buy alcohol at Ames General Store, Kunoco and Boyce’s in Colton, Kunoco in Parishville, Stewarts and B&W Quickstop in Brasher, Valero’s in Potsdam, the Country Store in Pierrepont, and Sugarcreek in Norwood.
The clerks in all the stores turned the underage agent away after attempting to buy alcohol.
