MASSENA -- Over $10,000 raised through Alcoa Employee Food Drive went to the Massena Neighborhood Center, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Massena Salvation Army and Massena Meals on Wheels recently, to help with the organizations’ holiday programs.
The funds came from various events held throughout the year by Alcoa employees, including the fall Food Drive 5K , office candy sales, Alcoa Family Fun Day and a recent holiday safety challenge held in the plant, according to a press release from the company's operation in Massena.
“On behalf of all the employees at Alcoa, we are pleased to be able to make these contributions to organizations that do so much for the needy in our community,” said Primary Location Manager Bob Lenney.
