AKWESASNE -- The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne will host Ontario Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell for a visit to the community on May 31.
MCA will host the event on Kawehno:ke (Cornwall Island).
It will start at 11:30 a.m. at the Tri-District Elders Lodge, 11 Community Centre Road, Akwesasne, Ontario for an "Edge of the Woods," ceremony.
At 2:30 p.m., they will move to the Native North American Traveling College (NNATC), 1 Ronathahon:ni Lane.
