After being buried in a blanket of ice amid temperatures generally well below freezing, St. Lawrence County residents should experience a couple of relatively warm days this weekend.
The National Weather Service is forecasting high temperatures to reach 37 degrees both Saturday and Sunday.
That might help melt some of the ice off utility lines and overhanging tree branches, reducing the chances of power outages like ones we have experienced since Ice Storm 2013 struck a week ago tonight.
