Massena police are warning the public of a rash of thefts from vehicles.
Chief Adam Love said patrols have responded to about 20 complaints, many of which came in during Saturday and Sunday during the day.
He said they are villagewide and not confined to any particular neighborhood.
The chief said numerous items were stolen from the vehicles and whoever is committing the larcenies doesn’t appear to be targeting anything specific.
“We ask and remind everyone to please secure their vehicle doors and if they see anything suspicious, please contact us,” Love said.
The police department’s phone number is 315-769-3577.
