Larry LaRue of Larry’s Fish Truck wants to sell the truck, the equipment and the business.
“I want to spend more time with my family,” he said, after 18 years of summers on the road.
“My wife doesn’t see much of me in summer,” LaRue said.
He bought the business from another Larry, Larry Puccia, and his wife Valerie Puccia.
Since then he has been making the weekly trip to Boston and up to Maine, or wherever the fish were, to pick them up, and then make the run back to the North Country.
On Thursdays, the truck has been stopping in Canton and Potsdam. Fridays he would be in Clayton and on Wellesley Island, and Saturdays in Chippewa Bay and Alexandria Bay.
“It’s a good business, good product, and good clientele,” he said, “with great people, great faithful customers.”
He is asking $97,500 for the truck and everything. He can be reached at 393-3234.
