Heating assistance for those who have exhausted their resources will be offered through the Care and Share Program.
The program can help with up to $200 towards a fuel delivery or an electricity bill for HEAP recipients, who are National Grid customers.
Those interested must call for an appointment. The schedule is as follows:
• Feb. 20: The Massena Neighborhood Center will be at the North Lawrence Town Hall, 11403 U.S. Hwy. 11, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3p.m. Call 764-0050 for an appointment.
• Feb. 24: The Potsdam Neighborhood Center will be at the St. Phillips Episcopal Church, 42 North Main St., Norwood, from 9 to 11 a.m. Call 265-3920 for an appointment.
• Feb. 24: The Gouverneur Neighborhood Center will be at the Star Lake Housing complex from 9 a.m. to noon or longer as appointments necessitate. Call 287-3370 for an appointment.
Feb. 26: The Potsdam Neighborhood Center will be at the New Beginnings building, 20 Elm St., from 1 to 7 p.m. or as appointments necessitate. Call 265-3920 for an appointment.
