POTSDAM – Michael Ayotte of Acupuncture by Design will soon join the offices of Dr. Shawn Burns, owner of Back in Motion, Sports & Family Chiropractic, 145 Market Street, Unit 13.

Ayotte, a state licensed acupuncturist, will be practicing in early July.

“I graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City with honors acquiring a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine,” Ayotte said.

While vice president of student council he was very active with the acupuncture community and organized the first student driven symposium on traditional Chinese medicine.

He says he completed an externship at St. Vincent Hospital in New York City providing services to patients with a wide range of immunity disorders.

“I also administered the NADA protocol at The Fortune Society which helps with addition recovery, anxiety and depression,” he said.

As a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine he has over 10 years of experience with numerous disease and medical disorders.

“As a St. Lawrence County native, I am proud to serve and provide caring, thorough Chinese medical services to the surrounding community as a compliment to your existing health care plan,”he said.
