An “active weather pattern” is expected in the North Country this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Several rain showers are anticipated, with a few thunderstorms possible as well, the service says.

Dry conditions are expected this afternoon and evening, although a slight chance of rain is possible, the service says.

Rain is expected to start Tuesday and continue through Thursday. High pressure, with drier conditions, will return Thursday night and continue into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
