A large ridge of surface high pressure over most of the United States will provide the St. Lawrence Valley with dry weather through the first half of the week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Temperatures will be above seasonal normals through the week, the services says.

Today will be mostly sunny with highs near 51 and northwest winds of 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon, NWS says.

Overnight lows are expected be around 41 with winds of 10 to 13 mph and gusts as high as 23 mph.

The high for Monday will be 54 degrees with sunny skies, NWS says. Overnight lows will be around 32 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for a high of 55 mph with partly sunny skies and an overnight low of 27, the service says.
