The free AARP Tax-Aide Program is again this year helping seniors and low- to middle-income people with their tax returns.
The program, starting soon and running through April 15, will be run at several locations in St. Lawrence County, including Massena, Potsdam, Canton and Ogdensburg.
Appointments are required only where noted. Bring all documents showing income for 2011 plus last year’s tax return. For more information, call 769-5736.
The schedule:
• Massena, Mondays and Tuesdays Jan. 30-April 15, Community Center on Beach Street from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Potsdam, Tuesdays, Feb. 6-April 15, Midtown Apartments on Munson Street, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Canton, Feb. 7-April 11, Tuesdays 4-8 p.m., Canton Fire Dept., Riverside Drive; and Wednesdays 1-4 p.m., Partridge Knoll, Sullivan Drive, by appointment: 386-2842.
• Ogdensburg, Feb. 2-April 12, Thursdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Dobisky Community Center, Riverside Ave.
