AARP's annual tax aide program sets sessions in Massena, Potsdam, Canton, Ogdensburg

The AARP Tax-Aide program will offer free income tax preparation with electronic filing for all low to middle income persons.

Volunteer counselors are IRS-trained and certified to handle special credits such as Child Tax Credit, Dependent Care Credits, Earned Income Credit, Education Credits, and NYS Real Property Tax Credits.

Anyone interested in using this service should bring all forms showing income received for the year 2012.

If possible, bring last year's return.

Sessions will be held at the following locations:

• Massena -- Mondays and Tuesdays 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Community Center on Beach Street starting Jan. 28 through April 15

• Potsdam -- Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mid-town Apartments on Munson Street open Feb. through April 9

• Canton -- Tuesdays 4 to 8 p.m. Walk-ins at the Canton Fire Department Building on Riverside Drive.

Wednesdays 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. by appointment only at Partridge Knoll, 30 Sullivan Drive
