CANTON – The ninth annual North Country Symposium at St. Lawrence University will be on the evening of April 4 and all day April 5.
The theme this year is “Growing Our Own Way: Strengthening our Identity for the North Country’s Future.”
The symposium will be held to explore ideas on how “the North Country can secure its own future by strengthening an identity that is embraced by its citizens, recognized by those outside the region, and supported by asset-based community development,” according to advance publicity.
Symposium details and registration materials will be available in March, at www.northcountrysymposium.com, 229-5664, and bdixon@stlawu.edu.
