Winds of up to 50 mph have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a wind advisory in St. Lawrence County.
The advisory is in effect already and will continue until 8 p.m.
Strong and gusty southwest are being seen across the county. Sustained 15 to 25 mph winds are ongoing with gusts hitting 50 mph at times.
Minor property damage, scattered power outages and downed branches are possible. The weather service is reminding people to secure or stow loose objects that me be blown about in the wind.
Weather is expected to clear up tonight when a chance of showers is possible. Seasonably warm temperatures are expected throughout the rest of the week.
