More than 48,000 brown, brook and rainbow trout are being released into St. Lawrence County lakes and rivers this year.
St. Lawrence County Federated Sportsmen and the state Department of Environmental Conservation are collaborating again this spring on stocking lakes, rivers and streams with young trout.
The numbers and stocking locations of yearling and older trout expected follow. Actual numbers and stocking times may vary depending on fish availability and weather conditions.
The places, number and types of trout, and stocking times are:
