CANTON -- The weather couldn’t have been better for the 44th Annual Community Bank Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

A total of 150 golfers participated in the tournament at the Partridge Run Golf Club and helped to raise nearly $9,000 to support the services Hospice provides throughout St. Lawrence County.

The tournament included two potential hole-in-one giveaways offered by T.J. Toyota and Mid- State Golf Car. Despite one shot landing within 15 inches of the hole, no one ended the day with an ace and a new car.

This is widely recognized by many of the sponsors and participants who come back year after year. We appreciate the commitment and generosity of everyone involved.”

This support contributes greatly to the quality of life for our patients and their families. This support will make a sincere difference in the lives of many people throughout St. Lawrence County” Gardam said. “Thank you to everyone involved.”
