Up to 4 inches of snow expected in St. Lawrence County, followed by ‘coldest air of the season,’ weather service says

St. Lawrence County residents should expect 2 to 4 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

A hazardous weather outlook was posted by the weather service as 1 to 2 inches of snow are expected during the day, with an additional 1 to 2 inches overnight.

On Thursday temperatures are expected to drop below 0 degrees overnight, with snow likely to return Friday.

The weather service is warning of extremely cold wind chills as an arctic cold front brings “the coldest air of the season.”

The freezing temperatures will continue to drop through the weekend with -12 degrees expected as the low on Saturday night.
