NORWOOD – The Norwood Lake Association’s recycling center got a new coat of paint recently, freshening up the 23-year-old operation.
The lake association pays labor and material cost necessary to paint the village-owned building.
The center receives 75 percent of household waste at no cost to residents. The all-volunteer members serve over 300 each households Saturday mornings from 8 to 11 a.m.
The center has never failed to open each Saturday for the 23 years including all holidays.
Instructions and advice are available by stopping in any Saturday morning. Garbage service is also available on site.
