POTSDAM -- A gift of over $700 was given from the PHS Class of 1965 to Helping Hands in memory of Cindy Talcott, a '65 PHS grad, who founded Helping Hands. Cindy was known for her love of people and ability to recruit volunteers.
Today Helping Hands, an ecumenical Christian charity located at 5868 State Route 56, Hannawa Falls offers food, heat, furniture, wheels for work, utility assistance and houswares, as well as a free lunch Monday through Thursday at noon.
