CANTON -- Canton Police Chief Lori McDougal says a recent drug take back day was a major success.
Although she could not provide a breakdown for St. Lawrence County, she said a total of 1,857.3 pounds were collected in Clinton, Essex, Franklin and St. Lawrence counties.
The prescription drugs collected came from long-term care facilities and the general public.
“I have been advised there may be another drug take back day in approximately six months,” McDougal said.
