POTSDAM – More than 1,200 National Grid customers have been without power in Potsdam since shortly after 4 p.m.
National Grid is predicting power will be restored to the 901 village customers and 330 town customers by 6 p.m. Another 29 customers in Stockholm are also without electricity.
In downtown Potsdam, traffic lights at the Market Street intersections with Elm Street and Sandstone Drive are not operating and village police officers are directing traffic. The traffic light at the intersection of Market and Main Street, however, is working.
