POTSDAM – More than 1,200 National Grid customers were without power late Saturday night.
Village police reported that most of the Village of Potsdam was without power at 11:02 p.m. Areas of the town were also affected, according to National Grid.
The outage was due to a problem with the substation on Lawrence Avenue, police said. Power was restored in the village over the course of about two hours, police said.
