With just two game left in the season, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team had one of the most complete efforts of the year with a dominating 19-6 win over Bard on Friday afternoon.

Clarkson now has an 8-7 overall record and a 3-5 record in the Liberty League while Bard has a 2-12 overall record and is winless in eight Liberty League contests.

Clarkson would score the first seven goals of the game to open up a commanding lead. Junior Christine Wright had a hand in the first four, scoring the first two goals and then picking up assists on the next two goals by sophomore Kate Dillon and freshman Taylor Collins. Senior Abby Doyle scored her first goal of the year on a pass from sophomore Paige Fayette before Fayette scored a goal of her own to make it 6-0. Senior Emma Oliver scored for the Golden Knights before Bard was finally able to get on the scoreboard. Junior Stephanie Lynch scored to make it 8-1 followed by a second Bard goal. Clarkson scored the final three goals of the half with Wright picking up her fifth point of the game on a helper on a goal by freshman Taylor Kwiek.

The Green and Gold scored the first five goals of the second half to open up a 16-2 lead. Wright scored two of the first three goals of the half and then her assist on Collins second goal was her eighth point of the game as well as the 200th of her career. Wright is now third all-time in points in Clarkson history and is the first player to reach 200 points in just three seasons. She also needs just two points to reach 76 this season and set a new single season program record.

Bard scored four of the game's last seven goals, but it was not nearly enough as Clarkson cruised to their largest win of the season. Clarkson had a staggering 43-11 advantage in shots and a 30-16 advantage in ground balls. Lynch, Dillon, senior Danielle Faivus, and sophomore Christina Pollard all tied for the team lead with three ground balls. Junior Danielle Tani made one save in 30 minutes of action while junior Courtney Quinn played the second half.

Clarkson will close out its season with a game at Vassar College tomorrow at 2:00 pm.
