The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team lost to regionally ranked #20 Wesleyan in Kissimmee, FL on Wednesday afternoon.
Juniors Michael Hayden and Tom Timpone each took their opponents into a super tiebreaker. Hayden split sets with Jeff Legunn 5-7, 6-4 but fell in the extra set 10-3, while Timpone battled with Donovan Suh before losing 6-1, 6-7 (8), (10-6) at No. 4.
Hayden teamed up with first-year student Thomas Luchars at No. 1 doubles and were edged by Donald Kleckner and Legunn, 9-8 (9).
The Saints will take on Illinois Wesleyan today at noon.
