Clarkson University will be holding a special day this Saturday, October 31 at Cheel Arena with "Warrior Fest".
Although the fourth-ranked Clarkson Women's Hockey team is playing on the road, and the 19th-ranked Golden Knights Men's team is off this weekend, there will still be plenty of activity at Cheel Arena.
The Clarkson Hockey team will be holding an open practice, starting at 12 noon. From 2:00-5:15 p.m., Clarkson will be holding a Cheel Arena-Veteran's fair with trick-or-treating for the kids, a haunted house, 50/50 drawing and a silent auction. Starting at 2:00 p.m. through 3:15 p.m. the Men's Hockey team will be hosting an open "Skate With the Golden Knights" featuring a sled hockey clinic. And from 3:30-4:30 p.m. the Wounded Warriors will be holding a sled hockey game. Opens skate follows from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
After a perfect 9-0 non-league start to the season, Clarkson's Women's team opens ECAC Hockey play this weekend, playing at Harvard and Dartmouth.
The Golden Knights Men, who are off to their best start in 24 years, resume action on November 6-7 when they host conference rivals Rensselaer and Union.
