Waterville, ME – Allison Wakefield made eight saves but a Katherine Hoving first half hat trick carried host Thomas College to a 3-0 win v. the SUNY Canton women's soccer team on Saturday.
Hoving scored three times in less than a 10-minute span in the opening half to give the Terriers a the 3-0 victory in North Atlantic Conference action. Delanie Baker, Kayla Phillips and Ryan Schubert each registered shots on goal for the Roos (3-11-1, 1-4-1 NAC).
Thomas (9-4-1, 5-0-1 NAC) held an 11-3 shots on goal advantage in the contest. Kayla Gordon made three saves for the Terriers.
The women's soccer team closes out its regular season on Tuesday when it visits NVU-Johnson at 12 p.m.
