St. Lawrence University senior Marisa Turner earned All America honors for the third time this year and the fifth in her career with an eighth place finish in the NCAA 400 meters on Saturday while junior Lisa Grohn just missed a second All America finish in this year's championship meet.
Turner ran 55.75 in Saturday's finals, just off her own SLU record time of 55.54 set in the preliminary heats on Friday,.
Grohn, who earned All America with a sixth place finish in the 10,000 meters on Thursday, finished one spot out of All America in Saturday's 5000 meters, running 17:15.36 for a ninth place finish. Sophomore Megan Kellogg also competed in Saturday's 5000 and finished 17th in 18:01.94.
