Senior Divya Biswal will be out to continue a string of All America performances as one of three St. Lawrence University athletes who will participate in the 2015 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, NC Friday and Saturday.

Biswal will be joined by classmate Cassia Hameline, who is making her first NCAA track and field appearance and junior Marisa Turner will return to NCAA competition after qualifying two years ago in the indoor championships. A fourth Saint runner, Megan Kellogg, also qualified, running the eighth fastest time nationally in the 3000 meters at 9:52.51, but will not compete.

Biswal has earned All America in each of the last two years and has had five straight All America finishes, four of them in the triple jump. She was third indoors and national champion outdoors in that event last year and second indoors and eighth outdoors as a sophomore. She also earned All America honors in the long jump in last year's outdoor meet and will open her 2015 competition with that event at 11 a.m. on Friday. She is ranked seventh nationally with a best of 5.64 meters this season. The triple jump will be contested at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and Biswal's best mark of 11.81 meters ranks ninth nationally heading into the NCAAs.

While Hameline is competing in her first NCAA indoor championship, she has a chance to become a two-season All America for the Saints. She earned All America honors in cross country last fall with an eighth place finish in that championship event. She joins Biswal and Turner as two-event competitors at nationals as she will run in the mile at 1:30 p.m. on Friday and the 3000 meters at 4:25 p.m. on Saturday. Hameline is seeded third in the mile with a qualifying time of 4:55.50 and is seeded seventh in the 3000 with a time of 9:53.32. Her mile time is a SLU record.

Turner will compete for the second time in the high jump, which begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will also run in the 400 meter championship which has preliminary heats at 2:50 p.m. on Friday with finals at 2:35 on Saturday. Turner is seeded ninth with a season-best 57.79, a SLU record, in the 400 and is one of three jumpers who made the field in the high jump with 1.68 meter marks, a height which matches the SLU record she first set in 2012.
