Biddeford, ME – Sophomore Brooke Susac made 35 saves to record her third shutout of the season as the SUNY Canton women's hockey team earned a 3-0 win v. host the University of New England on Friday.
Tess Adams added a goal and assist and Grace Page and Alyssa Hein also scored as the Roos improved to 5-4-0 overall on the season. The Nor'Easters dropped to 4-3-4. Sydney Jordan added an assist for SUNY Canton.
Caty Flagg stopped 18 shots over the first two periods, while Annie Rademacher made eight saves in the third period for UNE.
These two teams will have a rematch on Saturday at 2 p.m.
