UTICA -- The SUNY Potsdam cross-country team competed at the 5th annual SUNYIT Wildcat Cross Country Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The women ran to a 10th place finish and the men were 13th.
Freshman Rebecca Duckett posted the best time for the women, running the 5k race in 24:58. Junior Bonna Millem finished in 26:01, while sophomore McKenzie Lammana and junior Kinga Kanczura had times of 29:45 and 30:57, respectively.
Senior Vidal Garza set the pace for the men, finishing with a 6k time of 24:16. He was followed by freshman Jonathan Doane at 24:43. Junior George DiVita finished in 25:24 and freshman Brett Wunsch in 25:59 rounding out the top Potsdam runners.
The Bears return to action in the North Country Invitational on Sept. 7, at 5 p.m. hosted by SUNY Canton.
