POTSDAM, N.Y.-- SUNY Potsdam Athletics will be hosting its 2015 Bears Alumni Weekend and Hall of Fame Inductions this Oct. 2-3. The event will be in conjunction with SUNY Potsdam's on going Bicentennial Celebration during 2015-16.

The weekend will feature alumni games in lacrosse, softball, hockey and basketball. The event will be highlighted by the 2015 Hall of Fame Induction ceremony Saturday evening. This year's class, Christian Turner '05 (Central Square), Alisha Schaad-Waite '08 (Central Square) and Mark Nourse (Erieville), will join the other 130 members of the Hall at 6 p.m. in Knowles Hall.

During the weekend, Maxcy Hall will be open to all alumni and their families with activities including skating, swimming, and games in the field house. Saturday will also include a Bears Alumni 5k Walk/Run. Meet up with former teammates, our current athletes, and coaches to cheer on the Bears men's soccer team as they battle SUNYAC foe Cortland in a key conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Registration and details regarding the events will be mailed to alums. Alums are asked to RSVP by Sept. 25, to guarantee their participation in this fun filled weekend. Attendees may contact their respective coaches for questions or the Athletic Department at 315-267-3484 or sullivja@potsdam.edu.
