(Canton, N.Y.)- Junior pitcher Zach Rosenthal (Miami, Fla.) has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week and sophomore first baseman and outfielder Jordan Hunneyman (Redwood, N.Y.) has earned Player of the Week honors after the Roos swept the University of Maine at Presque Isle in four games this past weekend.

Rosenthal notched his first shutout with the Roos as he struck out three batters and didn't allow a walk while scattering six hits over seven innings in a strong complete game 16-0 win over the Owls. It was the junior’s second win of the season.

Hunneyman batted .562 (9-for-16) in the four-game series with five doubles, a home run, nine runs scored and 11 RBIs. He doubled twice in two games, had at least two hits in three of the four games and notched three hits in the final doubleheader of the weekend including his sixth home run of the season in the final game.

The Roos wrap up their season on Wednesday when they host SUNY Plattsburgh in a pair of nine-inning games starting at 1 p.m.
