(Canton, N.Y.)- Freshman Mackenzie Mynter (Churchville, N.Y.) of the women’s volleyball team has been named the USCAA Setter of the Week for the second time this year.
Mynter earned the award after leading the Roos to a 3-0 week with a pair of wins over Morrisville State College and a win over Cazenovia College.
The rookie averaged 7.3 assists and 2.1 kills per set in the three matches. She posted a double-double in the first matchup with Morrisville recording 20 assists and 17 digs. She then had 26 assists, nine digs and seven kills against the Mustangs in a tri-match at Cazenovia College and ended the weekend with another double-double with 27 assists, 12 digs and six kills against the host Wildcats.
Mynter is 13th in the USCAA with 6.3 assists per game.
