(Presque Isle, Maine)- The SUNY Canton women's soccer team faced a similiar situation as the men did in the first game holding a 1-0 halftime lead.  But the University of Maine at Presque Isle scored two second-half goals to take a 2-1 win on Sunday in Maine.

The Roos fell to 2-4 in the Sunrise Conference and 4-7 overall.

Angie Waryasz (Lowville, N.Y.) banged in a rebound off the cross bar at 37:26 of the first half and the Roos led 1-0 at the break.  For Waryasz it was her sixth goal of the year tying her for the team-lead with Kirsten Morley (Ogdensburg, N.Y.).

Lainey Herring then netted two goals in the final 45 minutes to carry the Owls to the win.
