Oswego, NY – Cecelia Neally and Molly Denny scored two goals each, but host Oswego State earned a 19-5 win v. the SUNY Canton women's lacrosse team on Saturday.
The Lakers (10-5) jumped out to a 6-0 lead behind a hat trick from Gemma O'Kane before Katelynn Nutter got the Roos (9-6) on the board off a feed from Devin Kelly just under 10 minutes into the contest. Denny and Neally also added first half scores as Oswego State led 10-3 at intermission.
Oswego State scored six straight out of intermission to secure the 19-5 victory. O'Kane paced the Lakers with five goals, while Teresa Shattuck totaled four goals and seven assists.
Logan Bush tied a game-high with seven draw controls for the Roos, while Nicole Piskorowski made three saves in the start. Angela Ponto stopped four shots in the win for Oswego.
