UTICA -- The SUNY Canton men's cross country team finished in fifth place out of 13 teams and the women's team came in seventh out of 14 teams at the SUNYIT Wildcat Invitational on Saturday.
Senior Justin Richardson (Pavilion, N.Y.) was the top finisher on the men's side as he finished in sixth place in a time of 20:24 in the 6K race. Freshman Zach Doyle (Oneonta, N.Y.) notched a top-20 finish coming in 16th place in a time of 21:08.
Senior Dylan Barringer (Wallkill, N.Y.) came in 39th place in a time of 22:21. Junior Jon Flint (Queensbury, N.Y.) was 60th (23:13) and sophomore Addisu Woldehawriat (Bronx, N.Y.) was 83rd (24:31).
In the women's race sophmore Megan Mydosh (Warwick, N.Y.) came in 10th place in a time of 21:47. Freshman Megan Morrow (Gouverneur, N.Y.) was 26th with a time of 23:07.
Freshman Keara Byrne (Queensbury, N.Y.) was 27th (23:16), freshman Bonna Milem (North Rose, N.Y.) was 58th (25:13) and freshman Paige Janis (Rochester, N.Y.) was 67th (25:57).
