(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team play their final home games when they host the University of Maine at Fort Kent and the University of Maine at Presque Isle in a pair of tri-matches Saturday and Sunday.

The Roos face Fort Kent at 5 p.m on Saturday and Presque Isle at 7 p.m. and on Sunday the Roos take on Presque Isle at 12 noon and Fort Kent at 2 p.m. The two Maine schools will also face each other at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.

There will be a Halloween costume contest during Saturday night's match against Fort Kent which is open to anyone and the best costume will win a prize.

This weekend will also be the final home games in the careers of seniors Heather Byron (Merrill, N.Y.) and Cassandra Gray (Watertown, N.Y.) who have been instrumental in the rebuilding of the volleyball program at SUNY Canton. In 36 sets Gray has recorded 27 digs, 14 kills, 13 assists, and 11 service aces and Byron has collected 152 digs for a team-leading 1.65 per set to go along with nine service aces.

The Roos are 15-14 overall and ranked 12th in the USCAA. SUNY Canton swept both the Bengals and Owls in their first meetings this season and didn't drop a set in their four matches in Maine.
