Canton, NY – Tom Rancour finished with a round of 8-over par 80 to earn first place honors by one stroke over a trio of Clarkson University golfers on Friday afternoon at the SUNY Canton Invitational at Partridge Run Golf and Country Club.

Rancour finished with a pair of birdies on the first and third holes going out in 38 before coming in with a 42 including another birdie on 11. Devin Page and Connor Amo tied for eighth place for the Roos with identical rounds of 83. Page went out in 42 before coming home in 41, while Amo shot a 41 on the front before carding a 42 on the back. Matthew Russel rounded out the Roo scorers with an 88 (43-45).

The Roos finished in second place with 334 strokes trailing Clarkson's A squad (332). The Clarkson B team finished in third place with 336 strokes, while SUNY Potsdam was fourth with 339.
