SCHENECTADY -- The SUNY Canton men’s soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Union College on Saturday in Schenectady.
Freshman goalie William Banahene (Rochester, N.Y.) played all 90 minutes in goal and made seven saves for the Roos (3-5-1).
The Dutchmen scored a goal in each half to claim the victory. Sebastian Jansen scored Union’s first goal in the 10th minute and Jake Soodek added an insurance goal in the 58th minute.
The Roos return home on Monday, Oct. 1 to take on Elmira College at 7 p.m.
