AMHERST -- The SUNY Canton men’s soccer team was clipped by Daemen College 1-0 on Sunday in Amherst.
Kyle Clifford scored the only goal of the contest for the Wildcats in the 49th minute when he put a hard shot on goal that just got by Roos goalie William Bahanehe (Rochester, N.Y.) who dove trying to make the stop.
Banahene made five saves for SUNY Canton, who saw their record dip to 7-8-1. The Wildcats improved to 4-8.
SUNY Canton and Daemen meet again next Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. in the Roos final home game of the season. SUNY Canton wraps up the regular season on Monday, Oct. 29 at SUNY ESF.
