HOOKSETT,N.H. -- The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team was shut out by Southern New Hampshire University 6-0 Friday night.
Sophomore goalie Morgan Barr (Almonte, Ontario) played the first 40 minutes in net for the Roos (3-10) and allowed six goals while making 16 saves and freshman Luis Puig (Chicago, Ill) played the final period and stopped all 12 shots he faced.
Six different players scored for Southern New Hampshire led by Steven Berry and Joe Collins who each scored once with one assist and Tyler Holske made 28 saves to earn the shutout.
SUNY Canton and Southern New Hampshire play again tonight at 5:30 p.m.
