LAKE PLACID -- The SUNY Canton men's and women's cross country teams competed in the USCAA national championships on Friday at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.
The men's team finished in fifth place out of 26 teams while the women's team came in 11th place out of 26 teams.
Sophomore Jon Flint (Queensbury, N.Y.) of the men's team finished in seventh place to earn USCAA all-America honors and junior Justin Richardson (Pavilion, N.Y.) came in ninth place.
Freshman Megan Mydosh (Warwick, N.Y.) turned in a 19th-place finish to lead the women's team.
