Canton, NY – Zach Meade (Tupper Lake, NY) fired another round of 2-over par, 74, and Nolan Reid (Champlain, NY) carded a 1-over par, 73, as the two Roos both finished in the top four spots individually to close out the 2014 St. Lawrence University Invitational at Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course on Sunday.
Meade finished with a total score of 148, just one stroke behind the second place finisher. Meanwhile, Reid improved his round two score by three strokes for a total of five-over par, 149, to tie for fourth place.
Carter Brock (Albany, NY) and Matthew Russell (Cranberry Lake, NY) rounded out the Roo scorers with total scores of 171 and 182, respectively.
SUNY Canton finished with a team score of 637 for the two day competition good for seventh place. The Roos beat Hamilton College by a single stroke and also defeated SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Potsdam and Utica College.
