Bangor, ME – Jordan Stewart posted 10 points but host Husson University used a strong second half to secure a 67-51 win in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Stewart was the lone Roo player in double figures with 10 points, while Danny Santana added seven points. Andrew Fitch chipped in five points and a team-high 13 rebounds.
Husson jumped out to an early 11-0 lead and led by as many as 12 points (14-2).
The Roos responded with a 17-0 run to take a 19-14 lead following an Ibu Smith three-pointer with 6:39 remaining. Husson took a slim 28-27 lead into intermission.
With the game tied at 37-37 the Eagles used an 11-1 run to open up a double digit lead with less than eight minutes to play. The Roos never got closer than eight the remainder of the way as Husson held on for the win and the weekend split.
Justin Martin led all players with 21 points and 17 rebounds for the Eagles, while Justice Kendall tallied 14 points.
Husson shot 50 percent from three-point range (6-for-12) after halftime, while the Roos held a 23-13 advantage in bench points.
