CAZENOVIA -- The St. Lawrence University volleyball team ended its two-game skid with a 3-1 (25-11, 25-17, 25-27, 25-10) win over Cazenovia College (5-9) Wednesday.

The Saints improve to 12-4 on the season.

"Tonight was a good match for us in the sense that we were able to have every player contribute out on the floor," Coach Shelly Roiger said. "We set some season-highs and even though Cazenovia improved greatly throughout the match, we were able to set a new win streak."

The Saints offense had a stellar outing against the Wildcats, recording a .310 hitting percentage on the night. Leading the Saints was junior Liz Gorgan with 17 kills (%.412), the team's highest this season. Junior Nyasha Miller contributed a double-double with 11 kills and ten digs. Senior co-captain Abby Rose recorded 35 assists and three service aces in just three sets.

The Saints will travel to Potsdam, NY this weekend to take part in the Clarkson Invitational. They battle Plattsburgh State Friday, October 8th at 3:00pm.
