The St. Lawrence Thunder 16U team earned a berth at the USA Hockey Tier II Nationals in Wayne, N.J April 5-9 by beating the Syracuse Blazers in the semi-finals in double overtime and Cheektowaga during regulation in the championship game March 18.
This is the fifth time this age group has competed for a national championship. All games from Wayne will be streamed by HockeyTV.

The Thunder is a true cross-section of hockey talent from the North Country with players from Massena, Brasher Falls, Parishville, Potsdam, Canton, Ogdensburg, and neighboring counties. This year's team is coached by Mark Goodnow, Josh Bartell, Dustin Smith and Nick Sheehan.
